New Patient Triage System

From Friday 28th April, we will be using a new system for urgent appointments. When you call the surgery, you will be asked to provide some information that will allow us to get you the right care in an appropriate timeframe.

The information you give us will be screened by a GP. They will either organise an urgent appointment (this will be either face-to-face or telephone) for those who need to be seen straight away, recommend a regular appointment with their own GP for those with less urgent needs, or pass on advice for those who need to access another service (e.g. pharmacist, dentist, optician). A member of the reception team will then phone you back to book your appointment or pass on the information.

Our new appointment system will help us to offer appointments more efficiently and to maintain good continuity of care by making sure you see the right person. Thank you for your patience while we’ve been setting this up and we welcome your feedback on the changes.
